Art Camp PD Days - February 20 & 21

What Does it Mean to Live on an Island?
Young artists will enjoy morning sessions led by Yvonne Vander Kooi and Arlene Deptuck. Kids will participate in a tour of Landfall and Departure: Prologue and embark on activities that explore the question What does it mean to live on an island? We will experiment with various media including drawing, painting, storytelling, and photography to create imaginative responses.
Monday, February 20 & Tuesday, February 21
Ages 5 -12, 9:30 – 12:30 AM 
Enrollment is limited to 16. Register early!

$20 | $35 for 2 siblings per 1/2 day workshop


Spring Break Art Camps

What Does it Mean to Live on an Island?
With this question in mind we will explore ideas, experiment, learn and create using traditional and contemporary approaches to sculpture, painting, video, and photography.
Kids in Week One will explore Landfall and Departure: Prologue and become inspired by stories and ideas about harbours—both real and imagined.
Kids in Week Two will explore radio, sound art and broadcasting. Instructors include Kaylea Reeves, Yvonne Vander Kooi and Arlene Deptuck, who will make these camps super-fun and memorable.
Week One: March 20 – 24
Ages 5 - 7    9:30 am – 12 pm
Ages 8 -12   1 – 4 pm
Week Two: March 27-31
Ages 5-7      9:30 am – 12 pm
Ages 8-12    1 - 4 pm
$125 for five classes, all art supplies included.
