wCoreyBryson Bypass still 2013 courtesy of the artistNanaimo Art Gallery presents a curated series of video art on the large screen in Diana Krall Plaza. Video works by Corey Bryson, Laura Dutton and Jennifer Van de Pol draw attention to our individual and collective experiences of particular places or events. These artists make use of local histories, political issues and social behaviour as they examine and re-imagine the world through documentation, altered time and fabricated experiences. Intervening in the regular programming, the videos run periodically throughout the day for the duration of the exhibition, allowing viewers to experience the same artworks at different points in their day and with different circumstances.
