Rhythmically Repeated: Alistair Bell, new acquisitions showcases a representative selection of fifteen prints and drawings by esteemed Canadian printmaker, Alistair Bell. Increasing the accessibility of Nanaimo Art Gallery's permanent collection, this exhibition draws from a recent and historically significant donation by the late artist's son, Alan Bell, comprised of twenty-seven objects, including drawings, watercolours, intaglio and woodcut prints, and an original woodcut block - many inspired by the landscapes of Vancouver Island's Yellow Point and Tofino.
